First Look: 'Manley’s Joy' – The World Premiere of Captain Brent Gaskill's Story

In a digital world built on endless scrolling and fleeting moments, we invite you to slow down, lean in, and truly feel something. After a year in the making, we are proud to reveal the official movie poster for MANLEY'S JOY.

The film is a cinematic portrait of InTheBite Magazine's 2025 International Captain of the Year, Brent Gaskill of Harkers Island, NC.  Brent lives a demanding dual life. For part of the year, he finds solitude on his commercial shrimp trawler. The rest of the year, he is the fiercely competitive captain of Builder's Choice, one of the most successful sportfishing boats in the world.

For Brent, the water is a refuge and a proving ground. It is the thread connecting the life he inherited to the legacy he’s building.

Following an exclusive VIP screening at the Marlin Awards Ceremony in Palm Beach, the film comes to the world Friday at 12PM Noon on YouTube.
