This film is a cinematic portrait of InTheBite Magazine's 2025 International Captain of the Year, Brent Gaskill of Harkers Island, NC.  Brent lives a demanding dual life. For part of the year, he finds solitude on his commercial shrimp trawler. The rest of the year, he is the fiercely competitive captain of Builder's Choice, one of the most successful sportfishing boats in the world (64’ Jarrett Bay).

For Brent, the water is a refuge and a proving ground. It is the thread connecting the life he inherited to the legacy he’s building. It is the story of a man whose purpose lives somewhere between the horizon and home.
